Jobs for mums: Best part-time, job share and full-time jobs for mums

Mums in the workforce have it pretty tough.

You have to balance the needs of your boss, kids, perhaps a significant other … and oh, it would be nice if you had some time to yourself for a change!

It can definitely be tricky to go out and get that job (and to balance work-life demands once you’ve actually landed the gig), but consider these encouraging words from Gillian Franklin, MD of The Heat Group:

“Mums are the ultimate multi-taskers often at times having to do three things at once just to keep up with the household tasks they have at hand.

“This high degree of multi-tasking has made them capable of churning through work tasks more efficiently.”

So there you go; mums are more efficient on the job!

So keep your head up, and remember, if you don’t apply, you have zero chance of getting that part-time, job share or full-time job. If you do apply, you never know what could happen! Remember, you don’t always have to be the best. Sometimes, you only have to be the best candidate. And being a good “cultural fit” (which is a fancy way of saying you get along with the people that already work there) is a huge asset. Don’t underestimate this – go for that job!

Without further ado, we present:
