We are seeking a qualified, skilled and personable full-time Chef to work in our business Bucatini located in Mitcham, Victoria. 

The aim of this role is to deliver a consistent dining experience that ensures our customers are satisfied with their meal experience every time, so we can build a healthy repeat customer base.  

The aim is to encompass menu design, coordinate all aspects of kitchen operations, train and monitor staff, and sourcing of quality produce. The role will report to the business owner and will have direct supervision responsibilities for kitchen staff.  

Applicants of this role must have a passion for producing consistent high-quality meals. They must have an excellent knowledge and experience in all basic techniques and styles. They must have a strong background in utilising fresh local ingredients and knowledge of all food safety standards. They must also have a good understanding of all financials of running a kitchen.  

We seek for applicants who have a professional attitude in the kitchen at all times and those who have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  

Qualifications required: 

- Trade qualified to Diploma in Cookery or higher. 

- Experience in menu planning and costing. 

- Previous experience of at least 3 years as a chef. 

Salary- $54,000.00/year plus Superannuation.
