Position : Full Time
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000 a year
Location : Springvale Victoria
Our busy buffet style restaurant "Paesano International Buffet" in Springvale is looking for an experienced Cook to join our exceptional culinary team.
The successful applicant will:
- Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine
- Creative and skills in menu preparation and design
- Skills in food presentation
- Handle large service numbers and ensure quality of the food prepared
- Assist storage and ordering
- Train and manage junior cooks and kitchen staff
- Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
- This is a full-time position, and this will include nights and weekends
Required Experience, Skills and Qualification:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role in fast-paced restaurant
- Cert lll or similar qualification
- Ability to excel in a high volume, high pressure environment
- Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
- Possess effective communication skills
